RTE ORDERS KATHERINE LYNCH SERIES: Following the delivery of MMA comedy pilot, The Lynch Mob, RTE2 has ordered a series of three half hour shows. The series will be written by Katherine Lynch, Warren Meyler and Marion Cullen, with Mark Gorton Executive Producing, and feature multiple characters played by Katherine.

In the wake of the success of the Durobrivae metal detecting project, including short films and live OB inserts, BBC's The One Show has asked MMA to make the film celebrating Liverpool's 800th birthday, featuring Edwina Currie.

COMMISSIONS FOR THE ONE SHOW: BBC1's new flagship factual magazine has commissioned a series of MMA's ideas. First up is the Metal Detectives, a groundbreaking collaboration between archaeology and metal detecting, to TX in late August. Dreamt up by exec Mark Gorton, Luke McLaughlin will produce and direct. The One Show has also bought MMA's current affairs concept, Downing Street - a series of shorts will be made in-house at BBC Oxford Road.

BUILDING BRITAIN BUILDS AN AUDIENCE: MMA's contribution to BBC1's Building Britain strand beat the slot average when it aired on BBC1 on Monday 18th June. In Fay Gibson's film, Loyd Grossman explored how Liverpool is being transformed in the 21st century.

MMA WRAPS ON RTE COMEDY PILOT: Friends in Hiaces tells the story of Singin' Bernie Walsh and her attempt to get her self-published album of the same title into the Irish charts. Itinerent Bernie's unique take on the country and western genre includes tracks like "Stand by Your Van", and the half hour mockumentary features unwitting contributions from Ronan Keating, Westlife and the Pussycat Dolls.

MMA CREATES A NEW SUPERHERO: MIGHTYMIDGE, a Children's Comedy pilot, aired on BBC TWO on Easter Monday, April 9. The story of an unlikely, eleven year-old superhero, MIGHTYMIDGE was commissioned by CBBC Scotland. Writer: Mark Gorton. Director: Martin Burt. Producer: Angela Galvin.

DOCUMENTARY SMASHES RATINGS RECORD: Our story of an escaped victim of serial killers Fred and Rose West, has attracted the highest ever audience to the Crime and Investigation Network. More than 150,000 viewers watched THE ONE THAT GOT AWAY, the story of how Caroline Roberts fled 25 Cromwell Street. 1 x 60 CRIME. Producer/Director: Luke McLaughlin

WHAT SLAVERY DID FOR US: The History Channel has marked 200 years since Britain abolished its Slave Trade, by transmitting BRITAIN'S SLAVE SECRETS. MMA's provocative documentary reveals just how much modern Britain owes to slavery. 1 X 60 HISTORY. Producer/Director: Luke McLaughlin.

BBC COMMISSIONS MMA FOR BUILDING BRITAIN STRAND: Presenter Lloyd Grossman will lead viewers through the highs and lows of demolition and regeneration in Liverpool. BUILDING BRITAIN is a 1 x 30 film for BBC ONE, part of the network's forthcoming exploration of the changing architectural face of the nation to air in June 2007. Executive Producer: Mike Spencer.

MMA SIGNS DISTRIBUTION DEALS: Several MMA series are now represnted by Bullseye TV including Reality Bites (21 x 30), Supporting Acts (30 x 10) and Icons (12 x 15). Paris based Family Films will represent The Real Middle-Earth (1 x 60) in France and French-speaking territories. The documentary is represented in the US by Janson Media.
